Between Congress and Bharatiya Janata (BJP), a gap exploded as a member of the Maharashtra Congress transformed the image of the Prime Minister Narendry Modi, who depicted him in Saree. BJP also claimed that the image was shared with a song they claimed to be derogatory.
In the BJP retaliation measures convened a congress worker, identified as a prakash “mama” Pagare and forced it to wear sari.
Prakash Pagare initially protested to see Saree when he asked, “What are you doing?” In the end, however, he gave up when two BJP workers held their hands while two others bother him.
They finished singing this: “Bharatiya Janata Party Ki Jai.” One of them was then seen as he tapped his face before distracting the group.
President of Mandal Karan Jadhav and some other party officials were also present during the incident.
The protest was led by Nanda Parab, president of the Kalyan Bjp district, who claimed that the transformed image of PM Modi was “disgusting and offensive”.
He said “The publication of such a disgusting image of our Prime Minister is not only offensive but also unacceptable. If such attempts are again made to defame our leaders, BJP gives an even stronger answer.”
Congress strongly criticized the actions of BJP workers and said it was an attack on freedom of expression.
The President of the Kalyan Sachin Congress told Times from India that BJP could file a police complaint against Pakash Pagare instead of mentioning him.
“Pagare is a 73 -year -old senior worker. If he published something undesirable, BJP members should file a complaint with the police instead of introducing him and then forcibly forcing him to wear saris.”
