Makkada ninadas, 78, the man who created it died 21 September in Kozhikod and left his brand in about 100 Malaysian films in his career around three decades. He also created title credits for more than 300 films in Malayalam and Tamil.
Ninadas arrived in Madras in his youth, armed with a letter from artist Namboodiri to join the film industry. He previously packed his first prize in the painting competition at the University of Calicut art festival and also operated a studio in Eranharm in Kozhikode City. Puthalath Raghavan, his cousin, who was a coach and an artist of boxing, taught him the foundations of painting. However, the meeting with Ramesmen, the artistic director of Adoor GoPalakrishnana Swayamvaram, ended up in the Society of Dressing Ramacandran. He took Ninadas to the art director-film PN Menon, under which he was trained in creating film titles. Later, S. Konnatt was modified by an artistic direction. His first independent work was for Neeyo Njano P. Chandrakumara in 1979. Followed by Kallan Pavathran (1981), who was not only a turning point for Padmaraian, but also helped drive nin -time career. Ninadas also worked on many tele-series and tele-films. Sulthan Veedu, a Teleserial based on the novel of the same name by PA Mohammed Koy, won the state television award.
His wife survived ninth, thanks and daughter premkal.
