Bathhukamma, a unique flower festival Telangany, celebrated the songs and dance of women all over the state, began on Sunday evening on a big note with Engili Pula Bathhukamm in a historic temple thousands of pillars in Hanamkon. Wrarangal, considered as cultural capital of telangans, has identified this opportunity with a great spit and gaiets.
Women and girls dressed in festive clothes were attended by celebrations formally launched in the presence of the Deputy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark, the Minister of Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao and other dignitaries. Through the Ministry of Culture, the state government took sophisticated measures for a nine -day event, which will close on 30 September Sadduula Bathukamma.
When Mr. Vikramarka addressed, he emphasized the spiritual meaning of the festival and noted that women through Telangana goddess worship the goddess Gauramma with deep devotion and offer prayers with a number of flowers. He wanted the festival to be celebrated for nine days, noting that it was bringing the prosperity of the state and its people. He also emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthen the position of women.

The inauguration program, organized by The Telangana Music Academy, was represented by a dance performance of Kakatiya, which emphasized the cultural heritage of the state. Previously, the main minister and others watched the dance drama at Chakali Ailamma, a prominent character in the armed struggle of Telangan.
This nine -day flower festival is devoted to the goddess Gauri, a manifestation of parvati symbolizing fertility and life, more than just tradition. From 21st to 30th September women will create complex floral piles, sing folk songs and dance in rhythmic circles to trigger blessings for prosperity and family well -being.
