The tropical storm Gabrielle intensified Atlantic Waters southeast of Bermuda on Sunday and, according to forecasts, was approaching the hurricane state.
The storm packed maximum permanent winds around 100 km / ha was only 16 km / h short hurricane forces. Meteorologists, however, warned that the storm could quickly intensify in the coming hours.

The Hurricane Center said the Great Ocean Swelling Gabrielle influenced Bermuda and is expected to reach the east coast from North Carolina to the north to Atlantic Canada in the coming days.
“These swelling are likely to cause life -threatening surfing and tearing the current conditions,” the center said.

Gabrielle was formed about one week after historically considered the peak of the Hurricane season in the Atlantic, which runs every year from 1 June to 30 November and became the most active around 10 September.
The National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration administration predicted more active than the normal season of Hurricane 2025 and expected to create an above -average number of named storms.
