Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar said on Sunday that Navaratri symbolizes the unity of the country in the middle of its cultural diversity.
After receiving the idols of Navaratri in Kaliyakkavilaion, Mr. Alekar spoke to Kerala-Tamil’s border on behalf of the people in Kerala. The governor noted that whether it is Keral, Tamil Nadu or in any other region, the inflammation of the celebration remains the same regardless of the caste, class, color or religion.
The solemn spirit goes beyond all the boundaries and it is the same spirit that holds us together, said the governor.
