
Mourner, including President Donald Trump, gathered on Sunday to pay tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk (31) to a commemorative service organized at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
Kirk, co -founder of Turning Point US and a close ally of Trump’s administration, was fatally shot at the beginning of this month when he spoke to Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. His assassination was shocked by the nation and caused the spilling of grief and conviction from political leaders.

President Trump appreciated Kirk as a “big man” before joining the Air Force to participate in service. “Today we can celebrate the life of a big man, a really great man,” Trump said. “We want to look at it as a time of recovery … that this could have happened even believable.”
Vice President JD Vance shared emotional honor on X and remembered the moment when he helped transfer Kirka’s coffin to Air Force Two for transport back to Arizona. “Last week we brought my dear friend Charlie Kirk. Today we are returning to Arizona to remember Charlie and honor his victim,” Vance wrote. He described Kirka as “visionaries” and “luminaires” that built a “whole social network for a whole generation of young people”.

More than 200,000 mourners took part in the service, while the State State Stadium 63,400 seat was packed in capacity. Another 100,000 were accommodated in nearby arenas or gathered outside and lasted Arizona’s heat. Many participants arrived in advance, some from 4 am and others had to park miles away. Participants were asked to carry red, white or blue in honor of Kirk.
