President Donald Trump flew to Arizona on Sunday to participate in a public commemorative service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Before joining the Air Force One Trump, Kirka appreciated Kirk as a “big man” and said that the event should be considered a unifying moment.
“Today we can celebrate the life of a big man, a really great man,” Trump told reporters. “We want to look at it as a time of recovery … that this could have happened even believable.”
When asked what the message would give Kirka’s family, Trump said, “Well, I just give them my love. Nothing is like you.
Vance remembers the transport of Kirk’s coffin
Vice President JD Vance also paid tribute and shared the emotional video of X, which shows the moment when he helped transfer Kirka’s coffin to the Air Force two after his death at the beginning of this month.
“Last week we brought my dear friend Charlie Kirk last week,” Vance wrote. “Today we are returning to Arizona to remember Charlie and honor his victim.”
The clip showed Kirka’s widow, Erika Kirk, along with his family and friends, because the body of the activist was overflowed back to Phoenix. Vance described Kirka as “visionaries” and “luminaire” that built “the whole social network for the whole generation of young people”.
“May he rest forever in peace and may God guard Erika and their beautiful children,” he added.
Massive participation is expected
More than 100,000 people are expected to participate in the memorial, with the stadium door opening at 8 am local time. Early in the morning, the crowds of swelling outside the place of 63,400 seats were forced by the organizers to prepare the overflow of sitting in a nearby desert diamond arena.
The Ministry of Internal Security assigned the Assembly of Special events Level 1, which was at the same level as Super Bowl or presidential inauguration in terms of security.

Shock and political fallout
Kirk, 31, was deadly shot 10. September during the campus in Utah. Killing was shocked by Republicans and Democrats. Tyler Robinson, 22, was accused of aggravating murder and related crimes.
Since his death, Trump’s allies have become increasingly heavier in line and promised to intervene the groups that are considered to be a celebration of Kirk’s killing. Vance approved the “Doxing” campaign against perceived perpetrators, while critics, such as the host of Jimmy Kimmel late night, faced professional consequences, including the suspension of his show.
