The sea of people gathered in the residence of Asam singer Zateen Garg of Guwahati, who died after a diving diving accident in Singapore to give up his final respect on Sunday. The mortal remnants of the singer “Ya ali” arrived today in Guwahati and was accepted by his wife Garima Saikia.
Main Minister Assam Himanta Bisw Sarma, who went to Delhi to receive Garg’s body, said that the singer’s coffin could not fit for a rented flight and instead was transported from Delhi to Guwahati on a regular commercial flight.

Hundreds of people gathered on Saturday in front of the international airport Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi to receive Garg’s deadly remains. A slurry broke out between the crowd, which caused the police to use a slight latha fee to distract them, the PTI reported.

Family and public payment of recent respects
The singer’s body was held in his residence for about an hour and a half to allow family members to pay their last respect. Later it will be moved to the ARJUN BHOGESWAR BARUAH sports complex, where the public can pay tribute from 9:00 to 19:00.
The last ceremonies still have to be decided
Details of Garg’s last ceremonies must still be completed. The Assam government will consult the singer’s family and various organizations before the decision. The state cabinet is scheduled to meet on Sunday evening to confirm the place of cremation.
Body received in Delhi
The body of the Zateen Garg arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi shortly before midnight on Saturday. Crayfish received CM Himanta Bisw Sarma, who gave up respect. Sarma was accompanied by the Minister of Trade unions for the external affairs of Pabitra Margherit and the higher government officials of Assam based in Delhi.

“Garg wore a rescue jacket”
CM Sarma said on Saturday that Garg went on a yacht trip, which included swimming and rescuers advised him to wear safety equipment. “Garg initially wore a rescue jacket, but after a few seconds he took it off and claimed that it was excessive and it was difficult for him to swim,” PTI quoted.
Garg was later found floating in the sea. Rescuers managed CPR and rushed to the Singapore General Hospital, where he was declared dead. The Singapore authorities are currently questioning those who accompanied the singer.
