The Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (SEAS), SRM University-AP hosted the third edition of the Environmental Sustainability Exhibition (ESE 3.0) on Friday, at the national level to support innovation and cooperation in environmental protection and sustainable technologies.
The vice -chairman (I/C) Satish Kumar, who spoke after the event inauguration, equalized the vision of the exhibition with global efforts about sustainability. “Sustainability is not an abstract idea, but responsibility to future generations. The exhibition attracted 155 participants from Pandjab, Bihar, Telangans and Andhra Pradesh with approximately 60 exhibits – of which 23 posters, 10 demos and 25 oral presentations – representing universities and universities across the country.
The winners received 20 000, 15,000 GBP and 10,000 GBP. The first prize was packed by the team of P. Akhil and V. Yagnesware (University Aditya University), followed by Swarna Baisa and Bhan Naik Jaloth (Slovakia University, Warangal), while J. Meghanasiri and P. Sharon (SRR and Cvt. College) gained.
The event was attended by Dean of Seas CV Tom, Associate Professor and Head of the Rangabhashiyam Selvasembian department, together with the heads of the department, faculties, employees and students from universities and schools in the region.
