The State Secretary of the CPI (M) V. Srinivasa Rao demanded that the state and central governments to include their plans for the privatization of the Visakhapatnam steel plant and immediately abolished the term (EOI) issued to private parties.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao also demanded the allocation of iron ore assigned to the race and also renewed 5,000 contractual employees removed from operation. On Friday, he spoke with the media persons, along with a member of the Central Committee of the K. Lokanadham and District Secretary Visakhapatnam M. Jaggunaid, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that the previous government of the YSR Congress and the current government did not stop steps to privatize the plant. “The current government even resorts to suppressing agitations by not allowing employees to show demonstrations,” he said.
He claimed that all parties, prevented BJPs, stood against the transition to the privatization of the race during the previous government, but now TDP and JSP have withdrawn support.
When mowing GST boards, the CPI leader (M) stated that he was opposed to four boards from the GST. “We demand the main Minister of Nara Chandrababa Naid, who welcomed GST reforms in the State Assembly to tell how Crore will fill 8,000 GBP, that the state will not get with GST reforms,” he said.
He also dug into the state government for distributing countries in Visakhapatnam for businesses and MNC at a cheaper price. “Several companies have taken the land and announced CRORES investment and job creation, but not many of them launched their operations. We demand a white book on allocations carried out and how many of them have launched their operations and jobs created,” he said.
