Two Assam Rifles (AR) staff were killed and five others were seriously injured when their vehicle was attacked by “unidentified terrorists” in the Nambol area in the Bishhnupur district in Manipuro on Friday (September 19, 2025) in the evening.
This is the first attack against the central security forces deployed in manipure, because in May 2023 the Kuki-Zo and Meitei ethnic violence broke out.
Governor manipure strongly condemned the attack on the security forces in which two brave Jawans Assam’s rifles made the highest victim in the obligation line.

Sudden assault
