The head of the Primary School Panchayat Union in Embbal Keezha in the Pudukottai district and five others were booked according to the SC/ST (prevention of atrocities) by the Mimisal Police for the alleged assault of the woman after challenging the director for defeating her eight -year -old son in the classroom.
Two of the accused were subsequently arrested for accusing the push and attacking the boy’s mother. A boy who belongs to the planned tribes community is a student of class 3 at school.
Police sources said that the boy apparently suffered a stomach and passed the stool in his trouser in the classroom. The head of the Arokiasama reportedly hit the boy with a wand on his shoulder and sent him home.
Police sources said the boy complained to his parents on the incident. Later the boy’s mother M. Ponnunghay (25 years) and her brother allegedly questioned the director of the incident.
There was a quarrel between Mrs. Ponnungtayi and Arokiasama. A group of five people in the same area: AROKIADASS, Ivan Diaz, Michaelraj, Xavier and Prabhu hit the quarrel and reportedly pushed and attacked Mrs. Ponnungtayi. The boy and his mother were admitted to the government hospital, manamelku, for treatment.
Sources said that this is a complaint of Mrs. Ponnungtayi, the Police Mimisal registered a case against the authorized director and five others according to the law of SC / ST (Prevention of Atrocity); Section 4 of the Act on the Narrowing of Women Tamil Nadu; and Section 75 of the Judicial Act for juveniles (care and protection of children) read with different parts of BNS.
Sources said that Aciadass and Ivan Diaz were arrested for accusing the attack of a woman.
