The Israeli army will attack Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in South Lebanon “in response to his attempts to rebuild his activities in this area,” an Israeli military spokesman said on Thursday.
Lebanon is under pressure from the United States, Saudi Arabia and Hezbollah’s home opponent to disarm a militant group.
Hezbollah said it would be serious incorrect steps, even discuss disarmament, while Israel continues to Lebanon and occupies the lines of the territory in South Lebanon.
“We will order an urgent warning against the inhabitants of buildings marked in red … to evacuate these buildings,” wrote Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee O X and provided maps of the Three Lebanese villages of Mays Al-Jabal, Kfar Tebit and Dibbine.
The military spokesperson said the attack would occur in the “close term” without providing a specific time.
In November, the United States mediated a ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel after more than a year of conflict induced by the Gaza War.
