
The Kelaettan Center for Study and Research, the research body under the Communist Party of India (Marxista) (CPI (M)) is launched by a new course that critically looks at the Hindutva policy.
According to KT Kunhikannan, the leader of CPI (M) and the director of the center, the course will try to introduce Hindutvu, “ideology of Indian fascism”, in historical context and as a political theory. It will also emphasize the “unofficist characteristics” of Hindutvy, consisting of a business development agenda and neoliberal capital, and challenges that represent before modern and secular democratic policy. A total of 23 subjects will be included. Its coordinators will be J. Praad and PP Abdul Razaq. Class will start by mid -October.
The themes include the origin of the Hindu, the nature of Hindu culture, the difference between the religions of the sraman and the Hinduism, the six branches of Indian philosophy, the characteristics of Indian materialism, the history and development of Hindutva and Savarkar and Mahatma Gandhi’s murder. Up to four classes will take place in a month. The course comes with a registration fee.
