The woman will be converted from the Kuno National Park in Sheopur district to Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuara on September 17, four months after two male cheetahs were moved to the Mandsaur shrine, the officials said.
Sheopur Divisional Forest officer (DFO) R. Thirukaral told Hindu that the opportunity has been referred to by the Cheepard project, which was launched to translize cats from different African nations to India. This step, he said, is aimed at increasing the cheetah population in Gandhi Sagar.
“In April, two men were sent there – Prabhas and Pawak – and now we are moving a woman Cheepard – Dheer – to Gandhi Sagar,” Thirukaral said, adding that the transfer would be made along the road after all security protocols.
The event coincides with the visit of the premiere of Narendra Modi in the district of Madhya Pradesh Dhar 17. September to lay the foundation stone for the Indian first PM Mega integrated textile area and clothing (PM Mitra) and launch various other projects, which also represents its 75th birthday.
On the same day in 2022, Mr. Modi released eight cheetahs translunted from Namibia in Kuno and after their extinction in 1952 launched an Indian program for the re -introduction of an Indian gepark.
Previously on Wednesday, a dead woman was found in the Kuno National Park, who was born on the Indian, found a sub-dreamed rib, preliminary investigation, which indicates a clash with the leopard. Twenty -month -old, born to African cheetah Jwal, was released into the wild in February after being brought up in the cover.
“She left her mother more than a month ago and left her siblings a few days ago. The preliminary cause of death seems to be a fight with Leopard. Further details will be known after the PM report is accepted.
