All efforts will be spent through the Telugu Academy and Sanskrit to protect and promote the language of Telugu, which can face many challenges in the future, said the chairman of the RD Wilson alias Sarath Chandra.
On Tuesday, who spoke to the gathering of poets and writers in Tummalapalli Kalaksheretram, he said that when he had the opportunity to study medicine, his passion for literature led him to write novels, stories and games that contributed to the development of society.
He also remembered his work as a journalist to raise awareness among the public about social issues. The beauty of the Teluga language lies in its spoken form and literature, he said, adding that he had no connection with the caste or religion. Literature is a witness to history, he said, demanding steps to maintain literature.
He promised to solve the problems of employees working at the Academy, and also promised to take steps to provide more services to students.
The writers and poets, present on this occasion, appreciated Mr. Wilson for becoming a brand in the literary world and at the head of the Marginalized Rights movement. Through his writings and posts to newspapers raised his voice on various social questions, they said.
