
At least nine bubbles died as a result of infection Balantidium coli (B.Coli) and 15 others tested at B.Coli from August 24 in Peddevam Village in Tallapudi mandal in the eastern district of Godavari.
Veterinarians examine suspicious food poisoning as a contributing factor to spread infection.
District Veterinary Officer Dr. T. Srinivasa Rao said on Tuesday: “Fertilizers showed that B.Coli as the cause of nine bulls death in the village of Peddavam. Blood samples, manure and feeding from infected animals are examined.”
Gannavaram campus experts are also investigating the causes of the outbreak of B.Coli infection.
