Bharathiraja dies | The remains on the way to the hometown; last rites with full state honors tomorrow

Music director GV Prakash Kumar said he was truly saddened to hear the news of Bharathiraj’s demise. “He was a fixture that changed cinema and inspired so many filmmakers.”
Actor Sukanya said, “It’s a big loss to the film industry. He achieved phenomenal success. One of the key reasons I came into the film industry was Bharathiraja. He was very passionate about directing. It’s rare to see a hardworking person like him.”
