The bronze bust of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya was unveiled in Tirupati on his anniversary of birth, which is celebrated on Monday as a “engineering day” on Monday.
Kalala Ranganatham and P. Gopal Reddy, who previously served as Chairman and CEO Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (ApspdCl), unveiled a statue in the presence of the existing CMD K. Santhosh Rao on Monday on Monday.
Santhosh Rao remembered the determination of the exposed Visvesvaraya and encouraged his corporate engineers to show such a determination in fulfilling their duties. Mr. Ranganatham, formerly a government advisor in the energy sector, called on engineers to be in the service of the company. “What you give society is important,” he said. Meanwhile, Mr. Gopal Reddy called on engineers to strengthen their association and take over fertile activities in the future.
