He noted that women’s equipment across sectors in sectors can unlock a huge tank of human capital and build a durable, inclusive model of development.
Democracy as a civilization value
The event coincided with the international day of democracy. On this occasion, Mr. Birla described Indian democracy as “not only a political organization, but a civilization value and a way of life”. India, glorified as a “mother of democracy”, historically confirmed the principles of equality, dialogue and participation, with democratic traditions deeply anchored in the cultural and social structure of the nation.
Budgeting responding to gender -reacting
Speaker emphasized the importance of budgeting responding to gender-reacting and stated that it should exceed the financial allocation to evolve into a socio-economic model that integrates the needs of women into basic development policy.
He called for institutionalization of gender budget cells across all ministries of trade unions and state departments to ensure that sources are effectively directed. He emphasized the need for higher healthcare allocations, education, skills, business and access to a loan supported by robust monitoring through data on gender discussed. These measures, he said, would better harmonize national priorities with aspirations of women and speed up fair growth.
The harmony culminated in the unanimous acceptance of “Tirupati’s resolution”, which sets a plan for progress to strengthen women by strengthening institutional and technical capacity and applying a gender lens across the structures of administration at national and state level.
The resolution demanded bridging the digital abyss, allowing women to prosper in STEM and ensure their safety in cyberspace. It also emphasized the need to expand digital literacy and recognize women not only as technology consumers, but as creators and innovators.
By adopting the resolution, the participants reaffirmed their obligation to transform the intention of politics to negotiations that can be stored in the Indian Development Agenda Center.
