Unidentified gang members fled a car in which they allegedly transported Ganja, overturned on the National Highway-516E near the village of Berampalli, at the Rampachodavaram police limits in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district (September 14, 2025). Reportedly, they were heading to Visakhapatnam from Odisha via National Highway. The Sub-Innspector Rampachodavaram V. Venkata Rao said Hindu: “A car in which the gang transported nearly 150 kilograms of Ganja was overturned on a highway on Sunday morning. No victim was reported. The gang fled”. Police confiscated Ganja and registered the case.
