Minister for Local Municipalities MB Rajesh presented a presentation on activities launched as part of the Suusthira Thrrital project at the 13th International Conference on Sustainable Development organized by the European Sustainable Development Center in cooperation with the Canadian Institute of Technology in Rome early this week.
Rajesh, who made a presentation through video conferencing, talked about the project in his election district, spoke about how local administration, community participation, scientific resources, efficient and planned use of natural resources and scientific planning can transform the ecologically stressed region into a reflectable model for environmental management. The Minister said it was the only case study selected from India at the conference this year.
