Reddit has shared an experience from a restaurant in PUNE. According to the user, people watched the match of India – Pakistan.
The post was the headline: “2 minutes of silence for those who thought the match of the ind-pak would be boycotted.” The Reddit user noticed that no one had won the match screening and everyone seemed deeply interested.
“I have seen some waiters stand for the Pakistani national anthem. The restaurant is owned and operated in the peace community and is known for Biryan. I stood up for the Indian national anthem and I was the only one,” the user wrote.
The user sarcastically wrote that patriotism was only for the “foolish” middle -class people.
“Rich and elite have no moral code. They are not patriotic for any country. I will not be surprised if this match generates a great income as always and the effect of boycott … is negligible,” the user added.
Social media reacts
Other Reddit users have published mixed responses to the post. When one of them asked the users to “name and embarrass the restaurant”, the redditor revealed: “
“Bro will blame the calm community, but not Amit Shah and Modija,” one of them replied.
“Go and ask every quarrel if they are a Muslim. You see the owner may be a Muslim; the waiters may not be,” the sarcastic answer came. “Maybe you’re a weirdo who stares at poor hardworking men who don’t have a luxury how to sit on a rush on Sunday.”
“I really liked your analysis.” Patriotism is for the poor that in the meantime has no moral law, “meanwhile, the” poor “waiters stand for Paki’s anthem and not India. Lol, how is it morally right? ” There was another answer.
Another user wrote: “This post is for me, 2 minutes of silence for me. That is me who thought the Indians boycotted it, at least most. Standing behind their (or other) national anthem while you are not on their country … It is certainly a strange kind of strangeness and that is Pakistan.
