Pakistan faces India for the first time since their loss in the Champions Trophy trophy. In the T20i format, Pakistan last played India at the T20 2024 World Cup, when they were in the team line -up like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja.
Former Pakistanian captain Misbah-ul-haq believes that the mental block Virt Kohli may not have the best Pakistani chance at the Asia Cup meeting against India. When he talked to the local media, Misbah said that if Pakistan could pick up early goals, they could be able to get great trouble on Sunday 14th September at the International Stadium in Dubai.
“Pakistan certainly has the opportunity here. If (India) will not get a good start and will not lose two goals, then there is not a virat Kohli.
“If you can create this gap from above, then you will have a chance. But again it is a key point: Pakistan needs a good start,” he added.

Since the departure of Virt Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja, from the victory in the Indian World Cup T20, the Indian team was taken over by Suryakumar Yadav.
