The TELANGANY government has undertook to protect women and children through strict behavior against sexual crimes, drugs, trading in children and children’s work, Panchayat Raj and the Minister of Rural Development Danasari Anasuya, known as Seethak, said on Saturday young Indians (YI) National Masom 2025 on Saturday 2025.
The Minister emphasized the role of parenthood in dealing with digital abuse and warned against the exposure of young children to mobile phones. Referring to the recent case in Kukatpally, where the father allegedly attacked his daughter after drug overdose, said: “Digital abuse begins at home. We have to train our children to understand a good and bad touch.”
Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), Shikha Goel, said there was no dichotomy against sexual exploitation and child abuse (CSEAM). “Anyone who records, has, consumes or shares CSEAM content is equally part of a crime,” she said, adding that even media platforms that quote encryption could face legal measures if such content was found.
The Mukth Foundation Director of the Ashwini NV Foundation spoke of the “four CS” digital risk – content, contact, behavior and trade – warning of the dangers presented when children are manipulated through online platforms. She quoted the case in Madhya Pradesh, where a man using a voice application presented as a professor to lure girls with scholarship offers before sexually attacked them, and said that such exploitation illustrated how online interactions could be “weapons”.
National President Yi Tarang Khurana said that the mission of the masoy is to normalize interviews regarding the protection of children and digital security and at the same time ensure systemic reactions of the parties involved.
The summit has joined 250 participants and the conference meeting will be formed into the White Book of the Recommendation, which will be submitted to the Government.
