
Former Captain Sourav Gangules, former Indian Spinner Harbhajan Singh, Secretary of BCCi Devayit Saikia and chairman IPL ARUN SINGH DHUMAL, were confirmed on Saturday as representatives full of BCCI members, before AGM Council and General Elections here on September 28.
Cricket Association in Bengal (CAB) on behalf of Ganguly, former BCCI President, as their representative in AGM, which will be held at the headquarters of the board, while Harbhajan will represent the cricket association Pandjab.
Saikia and Dhumal will represent the Association of Assam Cricket Association and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association.
Similarly, the treasurer BCCi Prabhtej Singh Bhatia represents cricket Chhattisgarh Sangh, while on Saturday the joint secretary of the Rohan Gauns dessai will be nominated for the GOA state authority.
The Vice -Chairman of BCCI Rajeev Shukla will represent the Uttar Pradesh cricket association, while Sanjay Naik and Rohan Jaitley were appointed by a cricket association in Bombai and Delhi and a district cricket association.
According to the election schedule, the state association had a deadline on Friday 12th September at 20:00 to appoint their representatives, after which BCCI issued a proposal for election role on Saturday evening.
The submission of objections, if they exist, can be made against the names of the election role on 14 and 15 September between 11:00 and 15:00. After reviewing the possible objections and decisions, the final election role of 19 September will be released.
BCCI AGM will have the election of its president as a key agenda, as the post lies free after Roger Binny’s departure at the beginning of this month.
Although the elections are to be held for all key contributions on the Board of Directors, it is really only for one position, because others are expected to continue their roles. Saikia and Bhatia were elected as a secretary and treasurer in January this year, while Dessai was elected a common secretary in March.
The date for its AGM was handed over to the state association 6 September.
