The main Minister of Telangany A. Revanth Reddy ordered officials to prefer the main temples at Godavari for the construction of permanent Ghats with regard to the following Pushkarama Godavari.
“Officials should prefer the Ghatty temple,” the main minister said. He wanted officials to make field visits to temples along the Godavari River from Basar to Bhadrachalam and chose temples suitable for this purpose.
He wanted officials to visit temples like Basar, Kaleshwaam, Dharmapuri, Bhadrachalam and others and prepared a list of temples that needed improvements. In this process, the priority should be given to the temples located closer to the state and national highways. In addition to the expansion of existing GHATS, planning of development work should permanently include improving roads and other equipment.
Steps should be taken to ensure that two Lakhovy people could suddenly immerse themselves in Ghats during pushkaamas. Officials should attract the development of Ghat and other equipment in the temples with regard to local needs. The department of tourism, irrigation and foundation should work in close coordination for trouble -free and successful behavior of pushkarams, he added.
