
The Indian entrepreneur has become on social media after sharing key mistakes to avoid the establishment of production business in the country. Prakash Dadlani, manufacturer and exporter of household appliances, took X (formerly Twitter) to outline the lessons he learned to run his factory with the aim of leading entrepreneurs.
“Starting the factory in Bharat is not easy. Here is my 5 best mistakes you have to avoid (if you are starting),” Dadlani wrote.
Trusting sellers too early
Dadlani recommended against providing any preliminary payments to sellers without security. He emphasized the importance of close contracts to avoid loss of trust and money, which is a common pitfall for the new factory owners.

The expectation of the accuracy
Dalani pointed to cultural differences and warned that the expectations of strict accuracy in India could lead to frustration. “Don’t fight with culture,” he said, emphasizing the need for flexibility.

Delayed entry to the home market
Dadlani admitted that he focused on too long and feared Indian challenges and professionalism. “When we finally entered, we realized that the quality of clients should be focused,” he said.

The entrepreneur warned too long against outsourcing. He shared that outsourcing engines and forming increased costs and led to quality problems, emphasizing the importance of maintaining basic processes internally.

Does not work on unthinkable
When Dadlani remembered the disaster, he revealed that his factory burned just before Diwali in 2021. Despite his failure, his team rebuilt the factory in a few months. “Your disaster resistant business. Insurance, redundancy and above all integrity.
