Later on Thursday night, land landslide at West Sikkim hit the Western Sikki constituency and left at least four people dead and three more was missing. The video shared by the Sikkim Police shows that officials hold the rope while standing in fast moving, turbulent flood waters.
According to the police in coordination with local villagers and SSB staff, two injured women were evacuated over the flooded river Hume.
What happened to injured women?
One woman, 45 -year -old Bishna Maya Portel of Thangning Village, was killed after her house hit land in the Gyalshing district.

The second woman, who was rushed to the hospital, remains in a critical condition. The police confirmed that the woman who succumbed to her injuries died during treatment.
What caused landslides?
Officials said that heavy rain had triggered several landslides throughout the region and influenced several villages and complicated rescue efforts.

Meanwhile, IMD warned against severe collisions in Sikki 10 September and issued an orange warning for the northeast state.

The meteorological agency also warned that in the northeast region it is likely that between 12 and 15. September is likely to collide.

Isolated strong precipitation predicted in other states
Insulated strong rainfall on 11, 12 and 15 September is expected in northwest India in Uttar Pradesh; in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on 13 September; and in Uttarakhand between 12 and 14 September.
Elsewhere, insulated heavy rainfall is probably in Chhattisgarh until September 13, in West Bengal and Sikki until September 14, in Bihar and Odisha until September 12 and Visarbha over the next three days, IMD said.
