With heavy rains that whip the parts of the Kurnool district, collector P. Ranjith Basha asked administration officials to be in alert and ensure that there would be no undesirable incident.
On Thursday morning on Thursday morning, the town of Kurnool and parts of the district deposited, which left several parts. Mr. Ranjith Basha evaluated the situation through a tele-conference with subcutaneous plants, RDOS, Tahsildary and irrigation departments.
The collector said that in Gudura, Maddiker, Chippagiri, Halaharvi, Nandavaram and Kadubura Mandala, severe precipitation was reported, while more rains are likely to hit C. Belagal, Gudura and Chippagiri Mandal, and asked the officials in these mandals to be in these mandals. He ordered officials to set up control rooms at the headquarters of collectors, divisions and mandala to follow the situation.
The collector asked the clerks of the irrigation department to regularly carry out the inspections and inform the water overflows over the bridges. He wanted a joint team of irrigation officials and VROS to see the HNSS Canal and Gajuladinne project work and report back if they need repairs.
Meanwhile, the APSRTC bus was stuck in overflowing waters on the culvert between the Gudur-Penicalapad road, but the passengers were safely out. Officials reported the collector that the driver had not followed the council of local officials and continued forward, leading to an unfortunate incident. The collector asked RTC officials to act against the bus drivers.
