
The Supreme Court has resolved the long -waiting case of the Garvebhavipalya Lake, which prepared a way for its inclusion in the jurisdiction of the larger Bengalur (GBA), said Preeti Gehlot, Special Commissioner, Forest, Environment, Climate Change, Election and Disaster, GBA, GBA, release.
Garvebhavipalya Lake, located in survey No. 49 village Hongasandra, covers approximately 17 hectares and 30 gunta. The lake fell under the Bengaluru South City Corporation and was the subject of a long -term legal battle.
Bengaluru North Taluk officials recently renewed 15 Guntas soil on Lake Kempambudhi, which is located in the survey No. 0002 village of Kempambudhi. During the recent border survey, intervention was found and the authorities have since fertilized the soil with barbed wire and restored it in the protected area of the lake, GBA said in a statement.
