On Wednesday, the Kerala High Court extended the interim suspension of the toll collection at the National Motorway Office of India in Paliyekkar Toll Plaza and ordered Nhai to report to the collector of Thrissur on the steps that were undertaken to postpone Edapally-Thrissur NH 544.
The collector (who appeared online in court) should verify whether the directive issued by Nhai to postpone the section and to file a court, said the justice bench A. Muhammed Mustaque and the justice Harisanka V. Menon. The case was sent to hear 15 September.
On Tuesday, the court ordered the collector to appear online to provide an update about the matter. At the beginning of August, the court ordered the provisional suspension of toll collection on tolls Paliyekkara due to massive operation on the NH corridor due to insufficient and shabby well -kept diversion/service roads near the autumn and job overview.
This suspension of toll collection was subsequently extended to September 9, while the petition was heard by Thrissur Shaji J. Kodankanrath and sought steps to ensure a safe and efficient flow of vehicles in the toll corridor.
On Tuesday, the police informed the court that there are still narrow places on some service roads near under growth and overpasses in the hallway. This also led to accidents near workplaces.
