On Wednesday, various Lingayat organizations gathered to celebrate Basava Sanskruti Abhiyan in Bagalkat.
Believers and community community leaders urged members of the community to record their religion as Lingayat in a national socio -economic and educational survey.
Sri Tontad Siddarama Swami urged unity to fight for Lingayat, that she was recognized as an independent religion. He said that leaders Abhiyan will participate in an open dialogue with community members to clarify doubts in the minds of the general public.
He said that the community should not be influenced by temporary benefits, but instead it will focus on recognition as an independent religion.
He took questions of the audience and said he had nothing against those who identify themselves as Veraashaiva. “My only challenge to them is that they record their religion like Lingayat and their caste as Verarashaiva,” he said.
He said the farmers that the whole point behind the cultural movement is to create awareness between ruling classes and ordinary people, that Lingayat is an independent religion.
“But it is better if we don’t notice our partial -casts,” he said.
“If we all do this, we get recognition as an independent religion. This will also help in obtaining other government facilities in the future,” he said.
When the student asked him if it was right for the hangers to ask for the ballot from the leaders of their relevant communities, he said it was wrong.
“The community of the community should abandon politics,” he said.
The woman raised the question of continuing discrimination facing widows. Sri Prabhuswami of Charantimath said he was involved in the effort to ensure good life conditions of the widow in the saunatti, Bagalka and other places.
The girl’s student asked for social evil, such as discrimination of caste. The believer said it was against the principles of Basavann. “If the devotion of self -esteem ceases to go to such temples, it closes,” he said.
Sri Basavalinga Pattaddevar of Bhallki said that Basavanna defended the equality of women and men and that all fortune tellers and devoted will be expected. He said that several female heads of religious mathematics are invited to the event.
Sri Guru Mahant Swamii of Ilakall said about the scientific aspects of the implementation of Ishtalinga Puja and his advantages. He said that the Mahant Jolige program, which appeals to people to come out of addiction, is continuous. He said they also accepted another swamis.
Several fortune tellers and leaders were present. A parade was eliminated in the city.
