India-USA Relationships
India-USA’s diplomatic ties seemed to have hit 50 percent of the tariff on Indian goods imported countries. This included 25 % tariff as a punishment in India for trading in Russia in the middle of the Ukrainian War.
Rick Rossow, Head of Advisor, focused on India and Asia Economics in the Washington Tank Center for Strategic and International Studies, recently told the Associated Press agency that the American Indian relationship is at a “low point”, but “such moments always feel more important than they are.”
Last week, however, President Trump called India-USa a “very special relationship” and confirmed that he and PM Modi will always be friends, and claim that “there is nothing to worry”.
PM Modi then warmly replied to Trump’s confirmation in India-USA and said he “deeply appreciated and fully returned” sentiments of the US President and the positive evaluation of bilateral relations.
“It will be deeply appreciated and fully returned to President Trump’s sentiments and the positive evaluation of our ties. India and the US have a very positive and complex and global strategic partnership in advance,” he said in his post PM Modi.
