Lenin Lal, a left -wing Syndicate member of the University of Kerala, filed a formal complaint with the Cantonian police against the Vice -Rectoral Chancellor who was charged with Muhanan Kunnummal, and accused him of manipulating official minutes of the recent syndicate meeting.
The complaint is held by Dr. Kunnummal, the director (planning and development) Mini Dejo Kappen responsible for changing the minutes of the meeting held on 2 September. The vice -chairman was accused of rewriting the minutes to “comply with his personal program”, which is described as a serious criminal offense involved in the official document, and cheats and criminal offenses and crimes.
The controversy revolves around the appointment of Dr. Kappen on behalf of the registrar of the trained vice -chairman. While this appointment was reported at the meeting, the syndicate refused to ratify this decision, with reference to the problem of suspending the registrar of the KS Anil Kumar is still considering the Kiela High Court.
However, the “modified” minutes reportedly prepared by the vice -chairman omitted this decision in the manner confirmed by the appointment of Dr. Kappen. Police launched a preliminary investigation in this matter.
