
CP Radhakrishnan, Vice Presidential candidate NDA, won the elections on Tuesday to become the new vice president of India.
Radhakrishnan was locked in a direct fight against election surveys against opposition candidate B Sudershan Reddy.
CP Radhakrishnan received 152 votes on Tuesday, exceeding the requirement for voting 377 to become the vice president of India.
Radharishnan won 452 of the first preferential votes, said Secretary General Rajya Sabha PC Mody on Tuesday.
“Nominant NDA and Governor Mahashtra CP Radhakrishnan received 452 votes of the first preferences. He was elected as Vice President of India … Opposition vice presidential candidate Judge Sudershan Reddy secured 300 first preferential votes,” Modia told the media media.

Interestingly, 315 opposition deputies appeared for the vote.

The vice -chairman elections began at 10 am and were closed at 5 pm. The counting began at 6 pm.
Currently, the parliament includes 781 members, of which 542 in Lok Sabha with one free seat and 239 in Rajya Sabha with free five seats.
A total of 13 deputies voted in the vice -presidential elections. The list includes seven deputies from Biju Janata, four of Bharath Rashtra Samithi, one deputy from Shiroman Akali Dal and one independent deputy.
Formerly on the day of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he handed over the first vote in the VP elections, followed by other leaders, including the Ministers of the Union Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda and Kiren Rijija.
