The leader of the opposition VD Satheesan killed the main Minister Pinaraya Vijayan on Monday for what he called his intentional silence of the “predominant and ubiquitous culture of torture and corruption” at police stations in the state.
Mr. Satheesan said that the united democratic front would resist the government’s attempt to sweep such violations of human rights under the carpet, given the public outrage caused by the disturbance of the Dolo RTT, which testifies to the “frightening brutality” in Stations.
Mr Satheesan said that the government would face aggressive street protests if they tried to protect human rights violators in strength by resorting to the suspension of the token and a light official, including nominal cuts in annual increment.
He said that UDF was not satisfied with anything less than the immediate dismissal of the assuming officers from the service and their subsequent criminal prosecution.
Mr. Satheesan said the officers accused the brutalization leader of the youth congress VS Sujith and the owner of the hotel in Peechi continued to serve the police with impunity, and the government “promoted and decorated the rights of rights”.
He said that a representative of the General Police Inspector, who was in charge of the extent of Thrissur in 2023, was shining over the stunning proof of torture of Mr. Sujith at the Kunnamela police station over great evidence.
Mr. Satheesen claimed that Mr. Vijayan was hostage to the party’s party at the top of the main minister’s office. He said that the “extra judicial Coterie” dominated the scenes of the behind -the -scenes right, making it the official hierarchy and channels of liability helpless.
The incidents of police excesses against ordinary people and public personalities were on the rise in Kerala and the home department, led by the main minister, was a complete failure, Kodikunnil Suresh, a deputy, in Alappuzha.
