To this end, the portal of electronic compensation was opened and the amount of compensation would be provided to farmers. Main Minister Naib Singh Saini visited Baliawale, Koodne and Chandpura Saifan on Sunday, Koodni and Chandpura Saifan and the surrounding area of the Fatehabad district.
The Commissioner’s deputy was instructed to prepare the list of the damaged houses and give them compensation first, Mr. Saini said, adding that a month ago the Crore 78.50 GBP was released under Baba Saheb Ambedkar Awas Yojana.

‘BJP Govt. gave people to the portal ‘
When he talked to journalists, he said that the situation of floods and waterlogging remained serious due to the failure of the BJP government. “People need immediate assistance and compensation, but instead of giving a special Girdawari damage, the government again passed people to the portal,” he said.
“Over the past few years, the government has been playing portals instead of compensation. Given this system, 90% of people suffering from any disaster will not receive compensation. Even for few who receive compensation, it takes several months to get it.
Mr. Hood, who himself managed the tractor together with the farmers to visit the areas affected by the floods of Meham and Kalanaur, said that the entire crop in the fields was destroyed. “Looking at breaking, there is no hope of the upcoming crop. Therefore, farmers should obtain a compensation of at least 60,000 to 70,000,000 for acre,” he said.
“Along with this, the government should also provide compensation for damage caused by houses, shops and other buildings. The central government should also announce a relief package for states affected by floods such as Haryana, Pandjab and Himachal,” he demanded.
