As part of the National Eye Gift Fourteen days (August 25 – September 8), Rotary Rajan Eye Bank, in cooperation with Rajan Eye Care Hospital and Rotary Club in Madras T. Nagar, on Sunday the rally was aware of the rally.
More than 1,000 students, Rotary members, social organizations and the public participated. The rally was marked with Padma Shri award and Sharath Kamal table tennis champion, who also promised his eyes, in the presence of a rotary governor D. Devendran and Sujath Mohan, director of Rotary Rajan Eye Bank.
Mohan Raj, chairman of the District President of the Eyes Care, emphasized the need for eyes, said: “There are about 2.5 million people living in the country with corneal problems, most under 15 years.
