Magen David Adom confirmed that four victims succumbed to injuries, while six others were in critical condition. The remaining injuries suffered different levels of wounds and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
“The scene was one of the absolute devastation, with several victims and people in shock,” the older rescuer told local reporters.
The authorities have not yet published the identity of victims or attackers.

Who was behind the attack in Jerusalem?
There were no immediate demands on liability from any Palestinian militant groups. The attack, however, monitors the formula of escalating violence from the outbreak of war in Gaza in October 2023.

This latest shooting has similarities to a deadly attack in October 2024, when two gunmen from the West Bank launched fire at the station on a light railway and near the boulevard in Tel Aviv and killed seven people. Hamas’s military wing later demanded responsibility for this attack.
