Baba Ramdev will be the chief guest at the state level Yogandhra function

Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has announced that yoga guru Baba Ramdev has been invited as the chief guest at the state-level Yogandhra event to be held on June 21.

Reviewing the arrangements on Tuesday, the minister said about 25,000 participants were expected to attend the main event. They will be organized into groups, each of which will be led through yoga demonstrations by members of the Baba Ramdev team. Students trained under Baba Ramdev will also participate in the programme.

Mr. Yadav said that on the instructions of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Government Adviser on Yoga and Naturopathy Manthena Satyanarayana Raju along with officials of the AYUSH department will go to Haridwar to formally invite Baba Ramdev for the function.
