
Directorate for enforcement (ED) convened a worker Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who filed a petition at the High Court in Allahabad, claiming that the leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi was a British national national, reported on the PTI intelligence agency quoted official sources.
The person who was identified as S. Vignesh Shishir of Karnataka was ordered to settle before Ed 9 September and provide all evidence and documents that he has according to the case under the provisions of the Act on the Foreign Proceedings (FEMA), said the PTI report.

Shishir claimed that he had documents and some of the British governments showing that Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, is a British citizen, and is not eligible to question elections in India.
On August 30, the bench of Lucknow from the High Court in Allahabad ordered continuous security for Shishir to be provided by the Union’s government.
In the temporary order, the Judge Chandra and Br Singh bench said: “We are satisfied with the fact that the matter required an assessment because the petitioner watched his cases against a very powerful individual and faced constant threats and must appear before the investigator at Kotwali, Roebareli, in prison.”
Shishir said that in June 2024 he moved, the CBI probe took place and claimed that he had appeared in front of the Delhi agency on more occasions, and provided evidence of Gandhi’s alleged British citizenship.
