Bhuvanagiri Congress MP Chaman Kumar Reddy said it was high time for the Union’s government to invest more in the modernization of skills to compete with artificial intelligence and to support workers, especially those in vulnerable positions.
Together with Member of Warangal Kadiyam Kavya and Narayanpet MLA Chittem Reddy, along with several leaders of CPI, CPM and Congress, on Saturday participated in a round table organized by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) on “artistic intelligence and its impact”.
Kiran Kumar Reddy, who addressed the participants, stressed that the cooperation between industry, government and educational institutions is essential for ensuring smooth transition and minimizing the effects of employment. “The framework of social security and formalization of informal employment is important for the protection of vulnerable workers during this transition,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kadiyam Kavya MP stressed how digital inequalities disproportionately affect women in countries with low and medium incomes and urges targeted interventions for inclusive growth. She introduced surprising statistics from recent surveys on digital gender gaps and noted that only 75% of women of their own mobile phones compared to 85% of men, with smartphones in women at only 35% in India.
Mrs. Kavya has shifted to the promotion of women and said that the Thelangans government led by the main Minister Revanth Reddy performs a pioneering initiative, such as the Indira Mahila Shakti program that transforms lives. Lok Sabha member called for a digital abyss through measures for the availability, training of skills and development of infrastructure, especially for women with insufficiently operated.
