
Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos won the title of US Open Men doubles in the final. On Saturday, September 6, the duo of the Spanish Argentina took two hours and 24 minutes to gather from the orchard and won 3-6, 7-6 (4), 7-5 at the Arthur Ash stadium.
At the beginning of this year, Granollers and Zeballos won their first Grand Slam as a team at the French Open 2025, defeated Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski 6-0, 6-7 (5), 7-5 in the final. They also expelled the same opponents when they faced Wimbledon.

How did Granollers and zeballos bounced
Granollers and Zeballos found themselves under pressure soon and surrendered the opening set after a few expensive double mistakes made the only break they needed to the British. In the second, however, the partnership of Spanish-Argentine introduced its combat spirit, erased three points of breaks from 40-0 down to 3-3 and attacked back with five direct points for defiant possession.
The set threw itself into Tiebreak, where Salisbury and Skupski blinked at crucial moments and committed a double error and a clean error that moved the momentum. Granollers and zeballs capitalized, drawing on one set per piece.
The referee turned into a serving duel, and both sides lasted tight until the British duo created three match points. But again, Granollers and Zeballos refused to undergo, convene gravel and calm to save them all and fight them through a determined possession that maintained their championship dream alive.
With a moment firmly on their side, granollers and zeballs immediately broke Salisbury and Skupski in the next game and stood to serve for the championship. Although they were denied at the first opportunity, they held their nerves and won the title and finished a remarkable turn.
