Education itself can change fate, whether it is poor or the state. We promise to promote government schools to the level of corporate schools and equip our students to compete on the global scene, said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to teachers, administrators and school education department on Friday.
He said it as a teacher of teachers in Shilpakala Vedik in the city on Friday. “Telangana needs a new educational policy that will change the lives of poor children. That is why we have created a committee for formulation of politics. A strong foundation will ensure a good building,” he said.
Mr. Reddy, who also holds the educational portfolio, reminded the role of teachers in achieving the independent state of Telangan when they took the slogan “Jai Telangana” to all doors in the villages and strengthened the movement.
After Telangana became a reality, the condition of teachers deteriorated and the educational department has been in chaos for decades, he noted.
“Since 2017, there have been no transfers for 10 years and no appointment of teachers. The previous government has weakened the university by not disappearing professors. Osmania and Kakatiya University lost their glory,” he added. “But soon after the Congress took over the reins, 11,000 teachers were named in just 55 days and diet and cosmetic fees were increased.”
Despite the criticism that the Ministry of Education should be assigned to another leader, Mr. Reddy confirmed that he wanted to continue.
“Many main ministers maintain a portfolios of income, finance and irrigation. I, as your brother, keep the education department. I try to understand and address the problems in this industry.
He described the role of teachers as Paramount and stated that their services are again needed to reconstruct Telangana and lay down a strong educational foundation along with skills for students.
Speaking of new projects such as Young India Residential School, Skills University, upgrading 65 public industry training (ITIS) as advanced technology centers and proposed young India Sports University and Sports Academy, encourages teachers to identify and encourage country talents.
“The future of students is the future of Telangana and this future is in your hands. You and I will rebuild Telangana,” he said, and at the same time awarded the 49 “best” teachers.
Together with the Minister I & PR Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, advisor to K. Keshava Rao, the main secretary (education) of Yogit Rana, the headmaster (school education) E.
