
Afghanistan survived the late allegations of Asif Khan to the edge around the United Arab Emirates by just four runs in nervous stamps until the sixth match of the Sae Tri-series in Sharjah on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Afghanistan, applied for a bat first, published 170 for 4, built a total on the back of consistent posts from the top order. Skipper Ibrahim Nadran led from the front with a smooth 48 out of 35 balls, attached to three and so much six and later appointed player of the match.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz provided stability at the other end of a stable 40 before Karim Janan blistered 28 out of 14 balls injected late momentum. Gulbadin Naib (20*) and Azmatullah Omarzai (14*) strongly completed shifts and Afghanistan after 170 marks.
