Two drug door -to -door workers operating a rocket via the Grindr application have acquainted together with seven consumers in the joint Hyderabad Police Operation in Seethaphalmandi in Secunderabad. Police Chilkalguda, along with the East Zone working group, confiscated 100 grams of MDMA, 10 mobile phones and a weighing machine, all worth approximately 15 lakhs.
The police said the main accused, M. Ramakanth aka Kiran, 44, an office assistant staying in Chilkalgud and a native of Kurnool, was involved in drug selling in the last two years. “He Used Grindr to Contact Buyers and Indicated Drug Availability on His Profile. Ramakanth, Who Had Previously Been Arrested in July 2024 Under the Ndps Act and Later Released On Bail, Allegedly Sourced MDMA From and Nigerian National in Bangalore Rates with the help of His Associate, Mudavath Prasad, 30, and Vacuum Technician from LB Nagar, ”Said an officer.
Based on credible information, the police attacked Ramakanth’s apartment in Sithaphalmandi and arrested a duo. Seven consumers, including a doctor, IT recruiter and a private employee, were also detained on their management.
Investigators found that the accused not only sold MDMA, but also consumed it with others during the parties.
