
Main Minister Bhupendra Patel said on Thursday that Gujarat aims to achieve his goal to become an economy of $ 3.5 trillion with regional growth by 2047. Patel was in the capital, where he was engaged in an interaction with a meeting with industrialists in preparation for the upcoming radiant regional conferences Gujarat (VGRCS).
At his address, Patel emphasized Gujarat’s readiness for the next stage of industrial development, with projects such as gift towns, Greenfield ports, LNG terminals and new industrial parks, including PM-Mitra, mass drug park, medical park and Agro Food Park.

“These projects, combined with regional conferences, would build Gujarat to achieve their goal to become $ 3.5 trillion by 2047,” he said at a local hotel on Thursday afternoon.
The official edition stated that these regional conferences would connect the National and International Parties to demonstrate new initiatives Gujarat focused on balance and holistic regional growth.
Gujarat, which builds on the heritage of the living global summit by Gujarat (VGGS), organizes four such conferences from next month. The conferences will take place in northern Gujarat (9, 10 October), Kutch and Saurashtra (8.9 January 2026), South Gujarat (9.10 April 2026) and Central Gujarat (10.11 June 2026). Four events will focus on unlocking the different potential of each region, identifying opportunities specific to the sector and catalyzing of investment at the ground level.

On this occasion, the patel remembered how Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as the main Minister Gujarat, launched a pulsating global Gujarat (VGG) with the idea of placing Gujarat on a global industrial map in 2003.
“Over the past 20 years, this summit has transformed Gujarat’s economic and social environment. Today Gujarat has contributed to Indian GDP 8.5%, 18% to its industrial production and almost 27% to the country’s export,” he said.
Patel stressed that the VGRC initiative expands this success to every district and region and ensures that the benefits of growth achieve every corner of the state in accordance with the mantra of the Prime Minister Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.

Pankaj Joshi, main secretary, Gujarat government; Plwaroop, Commissioner of Industry Section; Mamta Verma, IAS, Main Secretary (Department of Industrial and Mine), Gujarat government; Amaardeep Singh Bhatia, IAS, Minister for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the Indian government were also present on this occasion.
Gujarat (VGRCS) regional conferences will serve as platforms for discussions focused on sectors, meetings B2B/B2G, dealers’ development programs, reverse meetings of buyers, business exhibitions/exhibitions, networks and recognition of MSME and craftsmen. These initiatives are designed to connect regional aspirations with global ambitions, which reaffirms the position of Gujarat as an Indian growth engine.
