On Wednesday, a 60 -year -old man was committed on Wednesday in his house in Mandi Mohalle.
The deceased, identified as Siddanaik, lived in Mandi Mohalle along with his wife and granddaughter.
While the wife of Siddanaiky, who works as home aid, was not present in the house at the time of the fire, his granddaughter managed to escape. But he couldn’t get to safety.
The police conduct an investigation to find out the reasons for its inability to escape, even though his granddaughter reportedly warned him of fire.
Fire and emergency services on Wednesday on Wednesday at 9.45 hours received a fire call and immediately sent a team from the Bannimantap fire station to the site. The staff threw himself on the fire and walked in, just to find the inanimate Siddanik.
Police Mandi arrived at the place, made Mahazar, and moved the body to Mysore Medical College and the Research Institute Mortual. The case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
