
On Wednesday on Wednesday on Wednesday, the TELANGANA (ACB) anti -corruption office was arrested by the head of the assistant and inspector of Nizamabad Municipal Corporation and received a bribe of 7,000 GBP.
The defendant officer, identified as Karna Srinivas Rao, reportedly demanded from the complainant to the 10,000 GBP processing file (VLT), assigned the VLT number and ensured the smooth functioning of the complainant’s trade in the future without any overthrow. The demand was later reduced to 7,000 GBP, which it accepted.
ACB officials gained a modest remuneration from its ownership.
After his arrest, RAO was made before a special judgment of SPE and ACB in Nampally, Hyderabad. Another investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, ACB urged citizens to report bribes requirements by contacting the free number 1064 or through official social media platforms. He made sure the complainants’ details would be confidential.
